Dream Theater: Metropolis 2000, Mexico City. National
auditorium, Mexico City, Mexico. 27.08.00
This one was recorded at the best venue in all MEXICO, the fantastic Auditorio Nacional (National auditorium) a site with fantastic acoustic, and a great place for one of the best ever concerts in Mexico City, I’m not a super fan of DT but they played magnificent 2 hours and 40 minutes and according with Mike Portnoy “The setlist on this night is the quintessential “non-SfaM” setlist!” well that is totally true, I have to add some information that I got from Lines in sand site, Fatal tragedy has a new intro, Erotomania has extended drum fills, Learning to live has extended keyboard solo, A change of seasons has Dead poets society intro, new solos and an extended guitar solo & Take the time has excerpt of Whole lotta love (Led Zeppelin) on the last chord. By the way Home is cut in the last 2 minutes and they started again in the third CD, I didn’t edit it that part, I just edited the songs because it was recorded as 1 song per disc, so don’t criticize me, OK.
