This is one of the first edited versions
that appeared from the show, I did a brief investigation and show was with spaces
and unedited, someone edited this one but cut the dialogue previous to The Trooper, I know the date is real since you can
hear the next dialogues:
(Pre "Revelations") "Well a
very good evening to you again (SLURRED) ... Phew ... Thirsty work up here,
thirsty work ... you might see ahh ... dont worry about it, if you see a strange ... strange thing
looking over pre-historic monster roaming the stage tonight, we are actually
... we're actually filming (INDISTINGUISHABLE) for Wheaties here tonight ... no,
really ... actually we're making a ... we're making a kind of video thing
tonight ... it's going to go on sale all over the world, alright ... as the
Iron Maiden video, alright ... and we had to select an audience ... we had to
select an audience worthy of putting them on cameras in front of millions and
millions of people (INDISTINGUISHABLE) ... anybody remember from the album The
Number Of The Beast, it was called i do believe ...
yes, yes - way back, way back ... and all that shit we used to get in those
days ... what was it ? ... agents of satan ... devil worshipers .. all that crock of bullshit
from all those people ... drunk out of thier asses
all the time, you know what i mean ... you can always
recognize one of those religeous people ... cause thier heads ... you cant see thier heads, cause its stuck up thier
bum, when thier talking to you ... strange group of
people ... in fact, they would ... they would do the world a really good favor
if all of them would walk into the nearest cliff and fuck off and die or
something like that, alright ... right, Revelations this ones called"

"We've got this new album wondering around somewhere ... wondering around
in the streets ... the album is called powerslave,
alright ... when we did the album, we thought, we'd uh ... we would'nt bother with the usual three and a half minute hit
singles and all that kind rubbish and everything ... we'd go for something a
little bit more substantial ... something with a bit more balls to it ...
something with a bit more meat to it, you know what i
mean ... we came up with this idea for a song based on an old english poem, right ... very very
old poem ... its about ... oh ...hundreds of pages of
poetry on this thing ... its about 13 and a half
minutes of music this little track, anyways ... this thing we're going to play
for you tonight ... the strange thing about it ... the strange thing about, is
that the guy who wrote it, right ... wrote it, long long
time ago back in the ... (INDISTINGUISHABLE) 19th century of england, who's name was samual taylor coolridge
... who's long dead now, right ... but, when he wrote it ... now this is a
strange reflection on our time, right ... if your
going around town ... your smoking a joint, right ... someone's going to bust
you & tell you it's bad for your health & all that kind of shit
(INDISTINGUISHABLE) ... this guy ... this guy wrote one of the most amazing
pieces of poetry in the english language, right ...
and he wrote it when he was stoned out of his brains, ok (INDISTINGUISHABLE)
... and further more ... further more ... at the time
when he wrote this poem, right ... a time when he wrote it ... there was a
young lady in england called queen victoria ... who's the queen of england
... and i dont know if you
know this ... because marijuana then was legal in england,
right ... it was completely legal ... queen victoria
used to wonder into the toilet when she used to get real bad period pains ...
and she used to have a couple of joints, you know ... to kinda
to sooth the pain ... (INDISTINGUISHABLE) some nice policeman come ups tries to
bust you for having a joint ... you just tell him ... hey look
(INDISTINGUISHABLE) the queen of england used to
smoke this shit, and it never did them any harm ... (INDISTINGUISHABLE) state
of the empire, but who gives a shit about that ... the rime of the ancient
mariner".

The recording in general is good but Sanctuary fades out like 30 seconds earlier.
