Very nice audio recording, no big mistakes
on it.
TAPER'S NOTE´S: Original recording was muddy
(due to cheap mics, distance from audio source), but no clipping or anything horribly
offensive, so I filtered out the bass,
put some light EQ on (4-6 khz +2 dB), and added 2:1 compression and limiting to boost the signal to acceptable
levels. If anyone wants the
raw files, before I performed my admittedly
amateurish mastering, I'd be more than willing to send/post them.
Apologies in advance for my
at times overly loud and
off-key singing. I have reduced levels
in select spots to try to minimize
negative effects of such.
Compression and limiting was done with free third-party VST plug-ins by Kjaerhus.
-brief commentary-
Before 'Blood Brothers', Dickinson flashes the devil horns in imitation of the recently passed Ronnie James Dio.
During 'Running Free', Dickinson takes off his 'beanie' hat and tosses it into
the crowd.
Some booing can be heard after 'Running Free'. This is in response to advertisements being posted on the
screens that flank the stage
on the left
and right, even though there were
no indicators at that point that the
show had truly ended (i.e. outro song).
