My good friend Miguel Suarez aka Carnage
Visors did this recording, he did a great job but he had a chorus of singers
around him so that’s the weak point on this one.
TAPER’S NOTES: “This archive have
been recorded between the stage and the mixer, in the middle of A section,
among a lot of screaming fans, anyoning people who
were screaming, chatting, calling by phone, coughing time to time and do this a
hard work.
It was taped with 2 HiMDS, but the
first run out just a second after they finished to play "Iron
Maiden", so i have to change of disc and have to
do a mix with the 2 part at this point. I was very exited watching Eddie walking over the stage but at the
same time worried about the change of discs. I think is the only relevant point.
HISTORY: The days finally arrived,and all the day was a hell´s hot over the city, to much hot, to much people
waiting for the beast from the first hours of the day. We, a friend and i arriving at the venue at 5:00 PM and was relatively hard
to find a good place, all the front area in front of the mixer was full, the
lateral areas were full too, so, we decided stay there, looking for the middle
to obtain a stereo panorama of the event.
Later when the opener band start was practically impossible
moving around, no way to move; and when the beast start to play i was stucked in my place, fighting
with all kind of poeple, idiots screaming, bad
singers, stupid sellers, drunks and more...
Anyway, i think is a pretty good
recording, full of good moments and it was a great experience for me and for
most of the people gathered there. For sure a upgrade
for all who have brought an alternative recording from this concert in the
music markets on Mexico city ;-)
